The tree-lined 200-year-old monmouthshire & brecon canal provides the perfect setting for a day out on a boat. at beacon park boats in llangattock (a 10-minute drive from the hotel) you can hire an electric boat for up to eight people or a sleek pedal boat for two.. One of the joys of cycling is the freedom to follow the trails and roads that take your fancy as you pedal along. the brecon area has hundreds of miles of small roads to explore, as well as several cycle trails, including the aforementioned taff trail. kayaks, rowing boats and paddle boats can be hired from the boathouse on the promenade.
